Friends

As life moves on we have a lot people that we met. That we interact with. That we must talk to. We sometimes don`t want to know someone but we do. These people become, our friends, relatives, bullies, just people we know, class mates, and many other things. One of the must important people that we know are our friends. Friendships can gone on for forever or even just as short as an hour. We make a lot of friends here in this life. Some we regret others we`re grateful for years to come and even into the eternities. If even of you are like me you have a whole bunch of groups of friends. Me for example have some from elementary school, junior high and high school. But surprisingly enough as it is each school I had different friends. I would always make friends with people who didn`t continue going to the same school as me. Yeah it made it a little hard to adjust but I met a lot of new people which I am very thankful for. Like to going to BYU not knowing a soul in my hall. Then I met a lot of great people. So everything always works out for the better. The wierdest was metting people who went to BYU in Recife. Well at least I saw them on campus. And there they were in Recife serving their missions. Yeah the strangest thing.
Have a lot of different circles of friends is something that is quite useful. All my freinds from my Caculus class can help me with math and stuff. My computer friends from my various computer classes help me with my video game cravings....lol and help me with my computer problems. MY friends from other places help me with all the other things. So when I have certain issues I know whom I need to contact. And they always know that they can contact me. But as we know as time goes along we all seem to either draw closer or farther apart. We can`t stay where we are. So we have to make an active choice to keep in contact or to not. This is when we learn who are our true friends. The ones that will stick with us through thick and thin. Life does has its twists and turns. Friends come and friends go, if you lose them there are more fish in the sea. There are a few other billion to choose from. Of course none of them are the same. Each is special in their own way. God has a plan for each of them and for you.
I remember one of my friend from being younger, we would do stuff all the time. We did so much stuff. Sleep out in his home-made fort, ride our bikes together, do scouting stuff, and I even did a front flips on my bike with him. The funnies thing I can remember that happened was that Drew got mad at him and threw a canning jar at his neck. Yeah I got pretty mad afterwards but that`s all in the past. Well after a few years he made away. I visited him every now and then. But as time went on we lost contact. Later I found out that he was into drugs and some other problems. I made me really sad to see my old friend in the situation. It makes me wonder if I was still his friend what would have happened. Maybe I could have helped him stay out of that stuff, or I could have been pulled into it. Who knows? I had anohter best friend, we went to Junior High together and always were together. We`d watch Dragon Ball Z at his house everyday and play together all day. We were the best of friends. As time went on we went to High School, I stopped seeing him, and he dropped out and he fell into drugs and some other things. Another I see this happen to. There was nothing that I could do.
Friends influence us for the good or for bad, that`s why our parents told us to be careful about our friends. I`m sure as you look back on your life you can see the influence of your friends that they had on you. They make you or break you. You`ll see the habits you picked up from them, the little quirks they have. Just remember imitation is must sincere for of flattery. ^_^
Yesterday we had a great suprise party for Owen`s birthday. I mean it was quite the suprise having your birthday party a day early. Greg his brother, I call him the Wookie, kept him busy as we got everything ready and they got there and suprise!. It was good stuff. I mean I`m not quite sure how Owen felt, but I`m sure he felt good. I wouldn`t know no one ever threw me a suprise party. Nor do I want them do, I`m afraid I`d wet myself, lol, jk. That`s what friends are for though.
The title of friend is has a different value changing from person to person. I hold people in high esteem if they are my friends. Like on Facebook all the people I have on there I really consider my friends, ok not all but most. It`s really to identify a best friend for me, because it seems I have so many. Well at least I don`t have a lack of them..lol.

Welcome Back

Well after 2 years in hiding I am now free to telling the world what has really been happening.
Not much has happened since the last I wrote, I mean, I lost 55 lbs, I speak portuguese fluently now and I speak english really funny. I have an awesome high collar tan line.
Things are going great at home. The rent is really low here, the rent just costs me the time it takes to help my mom clean up. It was a little work to get everything ready for winter, but it was a good thing we did or that snow would have killed us.
The BYU foot ball was really good, but really really cold. We won of course, 21 to 3. We should have won by a lot more, but we`ll leave for next game. I went with Owen Savannah, and Jeramy. It was great to see them again.
Right now just looking for a job and stuff. and here`s some pics from my mish, have a fun time looking at them.

Email to Blog Post

Hey just seeing if I can just email this and post a blog. Cause that would be good so that everyone can visit my blog and I don't have to write everyone evertime. So this is just testing out to see if that works. So if you're reading this, that means you'll be in for a real treat in a few months. Cause you know what, most likely there'll be a new post.

MIssion is calling

Well I did my last talk in my home ward for the next two years. Which was formally known as a farewell talk. It was nice getting that over. I have no idea how long it was. Everyone was telling me how impressed they were with me. That I've broken out of my shell. That they never could do a talk without at least some notes. I was also told that my talk was better than most return missionaries. So that was pretty cool.

Still have a few things to get before I leave, but I got just about everything. It's really nice to have Joe home. I'm so happy that he's here. It doesn't seem like he's been gone that long, and yet it does. I mean sooner than I know it I'll be back. There's just so many things that just cruise by and seem like no time at all.

Pure Pwnage

A new month a new start. Well lately I've been finding myself saying words like noob and such a lot more. Ever since I've been watching Pure Pwnage. It's a really funny internet show about the gamer world. That's the best description I can give. There aren't really any words in the english language to desrcibe it. I would suggest everyone to watch, because it's really funny. It makes fun of gamers and stuff. Cause the main guy talks about everything as if it's a game. Like he uses words like imbal, and rush. So it's quite the laugh. If you're sensitive with things like cussing, humping actions, and spankings (all of which down to the air or a monitor) then you might not want to watch it. Or when people talk like gamers then you don't want to watch it. I would tell you about episodes but that would ruin it. I just say, go to purepwnage.com and dl(download) the episodes and enjoy. One of my favorites is #2 it's about gamers and girls. Don't worry about some of the terms they use, they refer to things in Command and Conquer: Generals Zero Hour. So you either play the game and understand or go what?

So be an uber-noob and not watch it, or you can be a pro and watch it. ROFL

Do you hear me? Do you care?

Sudoku the new wave hitting the nation. Well this week my family has finally given in. My mom did it the whole way home from LA. I guess that tells you how much she like it. My dad loves it too. Drew i think he just did it to pass time. I enjoy for maybe half way through one, then just do it to pass time. But now I'm home I don't think I'll be doing it anymore.

Yes Magic Mountain was a lot of fun. But I didn't get to go on as many rides as I wanted to. One was closed, and my group was all too tired to stay longer. But I got a shirt from it, so I'm happpy ^_^ I'm wishing I took more pictures, but I'm happy with the ones I took.
Yes I know, very orginial
Ignore the other people in this pic, just look at the dashing young man in blue, and that other kid in orange. And if you're wondering what's on my shirt, it's a simple math equation. Mario+shroom=Bigger Mario. I've been told that it's cool.

I figured we've done a foot pic before, so this was opproiate. Once my mom's wallpaper on her cellphone was my foot, now it's my eye, so I can keep an eye on her.

Yeah so I rode Ninja, Batman, Goliath, Jetstream, Scream!, was going to do X but it was closed. But overall it was lots of fun.

Of course when I went to the temple, I forgot to bring my camera. And all the other places I went, so at least I got a few pictures. Well I got to see the neww Joseph Smith movie, it was really good. I got to Knott's Berry Farm. We went at 8:00pm on a Saturday, it wasn't the best idea. It was as if it was during the day. So we got on 3 rides, but only the best ones. So it's all good.

Well it's just good to be home now. Even though it's harder to sleep in this thinner air. The wonderful weather gone. The beach thousands of miles away, instead of ten minutes. And all those other good things about Southern Cal that we all love and enjoy.

See you next time on Jake's World......well it's not really my world, unless you accept my reality as your own, then it would be, and I would be in far better condition than I am now, and you would talk to me more, and you wouldn't be reading this, you would be calling me, or at least leaving a comment so I know I'm being heard, cause people like it when you do that, cause this is a very run-on sentence, unless you think my puncuation is correct, then you're way off, just practicing writing in BoM style, you know with no puncuation at all, except the period at the very end, and how they puncuated as they published it, not puncuation on the manuscript, so I think that would be a little hard to do, well this is really good bye now, I'm not just saying it this time, you know i wasn't quite accurate with that BoM thing back there a few commas ago, I just feel like I lied to you, well I've warned you about it now I don't feel so bad, well good night, morning, or afternoon, whatever the case may be, and see you next time.

Buca di beepo

Well after a long trip to Cali, we relaxed then went to dinner at Buca di beepo. My Grandparents, my fam, my aunt Linda, and my cousin Madison.

Here's my cute little grandma.

My bro and dad.

My mom and dad.
Some left over from the tons of food we got. Let's see we got 5 appitzers. I don't mean the little one, they're like a meal by themselves. Then we got 5 entrees, I mean it was a ton of food.
These are only the left overs.

Here's my cous, she's autistic. My aunt Linda works at Merill Lynch, she's really smart.

And my cute grandparents.

Well that's only the first day of my wonderful trip, well see you tomorrow.

Stormy Weather

Imagine a nice sunny day. The sky is a grogeous blue. The sun beaming down and your tanning skin. A nice breeze blows by. Can it get any better? You bet, that's way too boring. You need a nice lightning storm. Some hail would be nice too. Even some big gusts of wind. Now that's exciting. It's fun weather to watch, and to be in usually. I still like to walk home in the rain. It's just so much fun, and feels so good. Some people would say, then take a shower. Pssshhh that's not nearly as good. Being out in a rain storm is so much more enjoyable. Just a little scary when you hear some really close lightning. Cause you might die like my ancestor Benjamin Franklin Stewart. He was struck by lightning while in his carriage, outside his house. The town Benjamin, Utah is named after him. That's my claim to fame.

Have you imagined yourself flying around like in the movies where the wind is so strong it picks you up. You're holding onto lamp posts and other things to keep from flying into space? I have I think it sounds fun. But it sounds a little dangerous, so I'll save that for how I'll die. Have you noticed that even with the lights rain under the right roofing it sounds like it's pouring? Yeah it makes it seem really dreary. Not a good thing for you when camping. Except it makes you really happen when it stops. But you do tend to get giant pills of mud on your shoes when that happens. But who cares right? It stopped raining. Lost yet? Welcome to my life.

A good snowstorm is fun as well. Like the one day I walked home from the testing center in shorts and sandals. In my denfence it wasn't when I went in. And as I walked out I show a reporter and her cameraman. I was so tempted to walk behind her but I figured, that it would take to long. But I got a few wierd looks from people on my way back to the dorms, the 3 other crazy people out in the storm. I'm known as a polar bear to most people. Mostly cause I enter places all white from the snow. Yeah I usually have steam coming off my head when I come in when it's cold outside. Doesn't happen much now, but it happened all the time when I was younger.

I can't say I've had any close experience with lightning, but people I know have some pretty close encounters. My uncle was backpacking in Mammoth and he was in a big meadow with one tree in it, and then it started to rain and thunder, so he quickly got out of there. I think that would be pretty scary. Especially when it's the 3rd day of your 5 day trip. Remember being as a child that when you heard thunder you had take into account your shoe size for how far away it is. Now that seems so dumb. Your feet have nothing to do with your hearing. I mean come on. It's more likely your ring size is more likely to effect it.

No hurricanes or tornadoes under my belt either. I mean I live in utah, our tornadoes are practically none existent. I have had plenty of earthquakes, but I don't think that involves the weather.

Jake wins.

Cousins, cute little ones

Well my aunt , uncle, and cousins came over this weekend. My uncle Kevin, a profeesor at Gonzaga, Aunt Chirstine, Ian , and Miles, they're 5. They came all the way from Spokane Washington. They got here around 11:30 pm, having left around 9. So they had a long trip and went to bed. The next day the twins woke up and played so me Super Smash Bros. with us.Drew, Miles and Ian. So next we went up the road from us to go up Dry Canyon. It was a good hike.
Family Photo
View of Mt. Timpanogos Temple
View of my house, the brown one.
And a darling picture of my Cousins.

While on the trip, we saw a Diamondback, a rattlesnake. We also saw a gardener. We saw plenty of flies and bees. It was a really fun thing to do. My arms still hurt from carrying Miles a far way, cause he was hungry, and really didn't want to walk. But eventually he wanted to walk cause his brother was. Well after that we went and had Tommy's Burger. Where they have Vienna Dogs, from Chicago. Which reminded me of Owen. But it was really good, and I had Cherry Coke which reminded me of James. Whom I get to see in like 2 weeks. Then we went home and played some Mario Kart. Later we went and had some La Careta. Well that's about it we did with them. So that's been my yesterday.

Movies in 3-D

So when you put two pair of glasses on do you see in 6-D or 4-D? I saw Monster House in 3-D today, was really cool. It's the same movie, just in 3-D. But during the previews they told me to put on the glasses but I already had them on. Nightmare before Christmas, is coming out in 3-D in Octber, so that'll be cool to see, those of you who will be here still. But you do have to buy your glasses, for $1.50? I don't know exactly cause my dad covered that part. But they are pretty dorky looking. Big thick black frames. Well the lens aren't red and blue. Here just look at this pic.

They should have had me be the model, cause I make anything look good. I think they'll come out with new frames for each new movie, that is if 3-D comes back. Cause they really do some cool things in that movie with the 3-D. You can tell some things aren't really 3-D cause it is just an optical illusion. Thank goodness that our minds think too much sometimes. But it's bad sometimes too with certain things.

Yes I did get a haircut, I got it at Fantastic Sams. I think I lost about 5 pounds from doing that. It's for some more passport pictures for my visa. And even before I go to Brazil, I'll need another haricut. I'm sure the people who'll give me them will love me, cause my hair grows way too fast.

Not much else happening here other than that. Still doing the same old, same old. See you next time, here in my lil world.

We went Idaho

We had a wonderful drive to Rexburg to visit my cousin and my aunt and uncle. After the 4 hour drive went to go see Pirates II it was great. Issac's baby head is shown here. From R-L Zach, my mom, Aunt Anna.

Here is Payson, Zach's friend's from his mission nephew. The entrance to the cave we visited. Called the Civil Defense Cave
It was cold enough in the Cave that there was ice. It was really cool.
No flash here, only flashlights.

Oh there's the flash. L-R Zach, Bryce(Zach's friend from his mission), my Dad, Unlce Jeff(Golden Gramps), Bryce's Dad, Drew.
We had a few tight spots.
Yay, the exit.
Looking back into the cave.
My dad had a little spill.
A little dune jumping, who would have thought there was some in Idaho.
Then we had some grub from Big Jud's. They had burgers that came in 1lbs, 2lbs, 3lbs.
L-R my Dad, Drew, Uncle Jeff, Issac, Zach, me, Sarah

Look out world I have a camera!!!!11111

Yes it is true i now have a camera. And all you that's been around me when I have one know how much I love to use them. Yes I go on a rampage with cameras. So people have to take them away from me. But now it is mine so no one can *devilsh laugh*. But I still have some strange feeling that it will somehow... But anywho here are some wonderful pics from my wonderful camera. Here's me and one of my polar bears. Can you bleive he used to be as big as me?
Here in my room. My bowl from my wonderful birthday cake, with a glass of milk. And my vanilla cream soda from the 4th. As you can see I have just so many things to take pictures of. I mean it's just mind blowing.

That's as far as the presents and other such things have gone so far. I guess I shouldn't be expecting very much at 10:28. Lol, I just felt like posting this earlier, maybe I'll come back and add some stuff later. o.0

Anything goes!

I figured it's about time I have a post were I just ramble on about anything and everything. So let's start with the wonderful weather going on right now. There is a spectular lightning storm going on right now. All the lightning, it's so great. The tempature is like perfect, I could just sit out there and watch it all night. Speaking about lightning my brother, Joe, was almost struck once. It was at Martin's Cove in Wyoming. But he was ok. This shake that I'm having is so goooood. It's cookie dough, I made that must be way it's so good. OR itcould be that I was craving something sweet all day... Dinner was fantasitic, La Careta was delicious. If you haven't been there you should go. Oh the rain makes me think of poodle..i mean puddle jumping, with Kelsey, Owen and Savannah. The first two being prolly the only ones reading this...lol Yeah all the splashing and stuff, makes me giggle like a school girl. I have a lava lamp, in my room, I'm still not sure if I'll ever use it. DDR is still fun. I guess I've played it a little too much. You know how I know this? When I close my eyes I see the arrows. But I'm getting better. Getting down not resting in the center but keep you feet on the directions. So hopefully I'll get that down, I definetley the best that were here tonight, but that's not saying much. Can I beat Kelsey, maybe we'll just have to see. I still wish I had a digitial camera. Cause then I could give you a tour of my room. And if any of you think I can set you up on a date, well too bad, I don't want to do it. I've decided that it's too much work. mumble mumble mumble mumble....well i guess that's it... I thought I had more to say, oh well. :)

Isn't winning great?

You to play something, and you come up against someone one who is supposedly better than you. You start to think, "Oh no, I'm going to get wasted." Then it turns out that you just totally kick their trash! Yeah after something like that you just feel sooo gooood. Well it might be just me, but I like to assume that everyone else feels the same way. Well I guess winning in general just makes you feel better. Even if the other people don't even stand a chance against you. But if you lose to those people you feel so bad. Cause you should have won but you didn't.

Losing is something that we all do sometime. Either in a game or some other competion. They saw you learn no lesson when you win, but a thousand when you lose. These lessons I have usually to be about me. What is important to me? The happiness of others or mine? Is this game really that important to me? Is winning all that I live for? Is competing something I enjoy? These are just some of the questions I've found losing answers. Losing can be in several different things. In school there is competion for getting the best grades and scholarships. Losing in school can be quite discouraging. But winning can be one of the greastest joys. Getting that A you worked for so hard is so rewarding. But some people are just naturally are good in school and so we all hate them for that. People can also lose in love, by falling out of it. It is said that, "It is better to have loved and lost then to never have loved at all." Love is something that is a precious gift that we are given. It brings so much happiness into life. But when you lose it there is an empty void in your life. A hole that needs filling. But nothing can replace it. But even greater love can repair the whole though. The love of a loving God. He'll help you fix your problem.

2-3 week waiting period :(

Now All I have to do is wait 2-3 weeks before I know where and when I'm going on my mission. I'm so excited and I just can't hide it. So if you couldn't tell what I just said, my mission papers are in. So I'm doing a lil dance. *dancing* *even more dancing* *knocks over a lamp* opppss *stops the dancing* *sweeps the broken lamp under the couch* *starts whistling as he walks the from the scene of the crime* I don't know what's going to be harder waiting for the call, or to wait to leave. I guess I'll just have to see about that. Well this is hagspam(HideAndGoSeekPAndaMan) signing out.

Removing Wallpaper

Yeah that's what I did for most of the day, remove wallpaper from our kitchen walls. Man, that was just so much fun.... All the icky goopsy glue remover everywhere. It makes you all itchy. The splash from it being sprayed on the walls. But it's really fun when you get a giant strip to rip off. We got to a part where my mom srumbed all the time, so there was like no paper to get a hold of to remove it. So it was like 3' by 6" piece of wallpaper took us an hour. Some of you may be wondering why we're no0t using a steamer...well we tried it before and it didn't work :( So we're stuck with that spray. No fun at all. But at least it looks a ton better now. All of you who have came over, and if you looked at the kitchen would agree with me of how bugly it is. Yes bugly, it's a step above ugly.

Mission Papers

Doing my mission paers has really gotten to start thinking. I'm about to go off somewhere a preach my heart out. It's just really an amazing thing. I mean there is other stuff I would like to do but I know that this is what I'm supposed to be doing. Got the Dentist appointment over with. ^_^ Tomorrow my least favorite thing, a physical. >_< Well still a lot of things to do tough. I've started to hate paper work even before I have a job. I guess its just preparing me for one. I mean the Eagle Project paper work is easy. Its just annoying to everything signed and stuff. My mission is going to be great, I can just feel it. My brother calls us on Sunday, YAY!! That's definetly the best mother's day gift anyone can give.
